Ghogiel, thanks so much for the in-depth explanation on the different possible approaches, the seamless transition of the floaters are awesome and I am most definitely going to implement that. I like this approach much more than my initial.
\ is a general escape character for special characters inside strings. some common ones are \n for newline, \t for tab-space, and \\ which simply goes to \ (to avoid the code trying to escape the next character in the string after the initial \).
I remember seeing the internal pitch/initial trailer for this ages ago and thought it looked fucking awesome! cant wait to play it, havent seen anything from it since besides whats been released but it looks killer!
OK here goes, here my initial breakdown of the scene! Trying to work how to show the image in the post rather than as an attachment, will need some help with that please, quite a newbie to polycount! Any feedback is appreciated! :)
Yeah np. Sometimes i like to make a few tweaks as far as edge thickness etc after i've done an initial testbake, it can help to get a clearer picture of how its going to work out.
I agree the the wrinkles are a bit much initially. I think he would look awesome with stubble. He seems almost too well taken care of at the moment. Other than that, it's a fantastic sculpt with lots of character :)

I asked few people around and everybody just shrugged and said the soft simply hangs and does nothing. That's initial impression. I think it needs somewhere with big letters: "MAKE UV ISLANDS UNIQUE FIRST"
eld is hardly splitting hairs, you can make a game with next to no artwork in it whatsoever.. Kind of indicates there's a lot more to it than 3d modelling, which is what I understood the initial sentiment was about. It bears repeating!
As mentioned before much of this is in progress, this is just an initial poly paint. all input is greatly desired and appreciated, after all we are all on the trip to self improvement, thank you so much for your comments and review.
