Looks nice,could use some some more details on the diffuse map and lighting is bad so normal maps aren't reading well.

I have to admit, I was thrown off by the wall of text. And you're looking at days assuming it's only a diffuse texture or quick normal painting.

Love the art style however I think you need to put an AO into your diffuse texture. There are a few areas that look a little flat.

Usually these artifacts means the rays missed the mesh and the holes have been filled with the diffusion (if enabled). What ray distance did you set ?

Oh, ok, thought that this was just going to use diffuse textures, no specular was mentioned. Seems you don't have much to worry about now :)

No, I'm talking about a PSD file for specular, with its own alpha channel. I use to use a PSD for diffuse, another for specular and so on.

I think this should help out http://www.marmoset.co/toolbag/learn/pbr-practice In this case... diffuse = albedo roughness = microsurface specular = reflectivity
