Thank you! The other thing Im having a problem is when he clicks the rim polygon and says click the middle mouse button... I dont have one, is there a key I can press instead?
I feel max has a better handling of polygons, and the modifiers work wonders. I can work on both max and maya tho. I'll expand on why it handles better in a little while i guess.
In the Edit window, have you tried Select Inverted Polygons in the Select menu? This should select only the mirrored UVs, but it could also select badly-mapped UVs too. Then you can Break them.
If you change the chains into cards, wpuld that look bad? The chains get so many polygons, I dont know if its worth it. But on the other hand for a portfolio piece you dont have any budgets
can you put up your sbs, Im trying to take different polygon shapes that I made and then input them into the tile sampler but I cant get the tile sampler to show both images.
Try selecting the polygons that are not the supporting edge and use the planar button. Just flop between X Y Z and undo 2/3 that won't work. Because right now the area looks a lil wonky.
for the beard i know they have bee uesd fibermesh in zbrush but the how its come all together like that dont tell me they post eatch polygon individually for the hair or there is a tool for that ?? thanks for ur attention
It's nice, but you should consider adding more polygons, because those sharp edges are really visible. Add as many as you need to get it round and smooth. Noone will kill you for it, and it will look much better.
I'm sorry man but the O with the dots is just not reading as a polygon/quad for me, I didnt realize what it was till you explained it, and I still have to remind myself of it before I see it as one
I really like the darkest render, it reminds me of kingdom of heaven, but in a good way, haha :D No, but seriously, it looks really really good. :) Very low on the polygon counts aswell :) *saves to inspirational folder*
