I updated the lighting and started introducing some more background elements. I will change the pose from here, and try to come up with a decent color grade to find a look that feels right. any advice will be really helpful, let me know if anything stands out!
That works on an object level. How I used this function was on a sub-object level to detach elements as there own models. It looks like I'll just have to use the detach function. It just messes with my workflow. The new Shift Click to select loops or rings is handy though
The elements are surely here, it is just something about her right now that pushes her towards an doll-like uncanny look. Dunno if you saw the feedback posted on slack but here is some suggestions to push her slightly more in the direction of Ilya Kuvshinovs fanart of Max.
It doesn't sound like they are criticizing Victory in as so much EA managment pushing the direction it did too late in the process so they ended.up shoehorning the f2p elements in versus designing the game initially around the idea.. Go hug a bunny Justin before you have an anuerysm.
That's a good suggestion, I'll see if I can incorporate it. I kinda mixed and matched elements, its the base from a space marine aa gun, and the top of the ork gun. Not going to have any characters in the scene, but definitely going for something leaning towards orc style.

Granted the texture work needs more love but its the idea that I really like. When the idea is solid, the other elements will come together. The concept, in my eyes, warrants a hand painted texture since it is a fantasy oriented idea that probably wouldn't be utilized in a realistic world.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to play NS (my net connection was craaaaaap) and I tried, but could play like that. Really looking forward to this one, and that procedural infestation has be excited about what new gameplay elements there will be. Hope these preview movies will not be too far apart
I think the gears are fantastic. Gears behind the environment is an iconic image to me in Silent Hill. Another idea is that Silent Hill has a way of blending the organic and mechanical together. Are you planning on adding any organic elements to the scene? Can't wait to see it with proper lighting!
That jacket's got some mad support ^^ I would suggest showing the middle of a bra instead of leaving her bare in the middle. Would allow for some "boob boost" and add a unique element. She'd be flopping all over the place this way... which is not sexy... and not easy to rig
