This is awesome. Love how the design and repeated construction-themed elements have enough variation. Assuming you used a trim sheet or two like your other ships. Can you share flats? Curious about your layout and blending methods... vertex color for blends?
with that kind of embiance, I think you need more silhouette element to complete the lisibility of the picture, and maybe work the contrast gradient by the Z distance, like maybe this one : http://fr.flash-screen.com/free-wallpaper/uploads/200606/imgs/1151052474_1024x768_sunset-beach-wallpaper.jpg Keep it up !
thanks guys yeah i watch the series :) the thing with the snake and fox is that they can be very organic shapes. The giant toad and sasukes susanoo for example are too box shaped elements and im not able to make interwoven borderelements out of them so thats why i avoid it.
you really need to work on the nose and chin. they still bare no resemblance at all. Also ears are too high I find it easier to model when other elements are apparent, like hair or eyelashes / eyebrows. simple placeholders are fine, and give you a better feel for the progress.
Arch viz is so nice! Like how you balance the compositions. Do you model all of the furniture yourself or is the bulk of the magic in the shader and lighting work? Always amazes me how you guys pull off these renders cause there's so many elements to balance.
Looking awesome as always. The leaves on the tree do look oversized though. You could probably saturate the red on the buildings, waiting until the lightings done is a good idea. Additional details/elements in and around the yard area in the foreground such as sewer grates etc would break it up.
Cool idea, that design is pretty fun! I think you could add some elements around the minion to blend it with the statue. Also, there's some towers exploration with minions made by Riot artists, can be inspiring ! Here's the link https://www.artstation.com/artwork/953Ga Keep it up!
I'm a fan of I Am Legend, the book, as well. The alternate ending might imply some of the point of the book better (especially one shot) - but the whole film still doesn't follow the book as closely as it should [we're talking plot elements and characters being removed, etc.]
The plane is a single element, none of the verts are broken. Only the UV's are rotated/flipped to tile the normal. Isn't this what your doing also? If so how do you not flip them using only a normal map section to tile them? All my overlaps are offset.
yea, try not to focus on smaller areas of the faqce first, try and get the whole head roughly blocked in, then go in and refine the elements. the number of heads i've seen where the front of the face looks so disjointed from the rest of the head. keep working on it though, looks promising
