F10 (brings up Render Scene Dialog) > Common Tab > Scroll down to "Assign Renderer" change production to Mental Ray. -

Good call on UltraMon, Vig, I use that too, it's very good. I have F10 as a hotkey for swapping windows between monitors. -

for viewport: customize, preferences, configure driver, texel lookup = nearest for renders: F10, renderer tab, turn off antialiasing and filter maps -

I recently bought a P2416D. It is a nice display for the price (I paid 320 shipped). It isn't 4k, but QHD is still pretty good :)
