In addition to everything that has been said, you should should definitely add a cavity map to your diffuse. It's quite a shame that you spent time to sculpt it and lose almost all the details in your low poly renders. A cavity would solve that.
Okay I now tried to bake in xNormal using TIFF and that problem is solved. It seems that the noisy/scattered problem is due to te compreesion of the files, don't know why max is doing it even with TIFF format. Still have the problem with the seams tought :/
Problem solved, I don't know what was wrong... But Now it works like a charm ! :) I guess I did something wrong but I don't know what exactly. I'll try to figure out. Thanks for having taken care of it anyway.
Yeah sorry, i just started a new thread because i was afraid it might be over looked as the other thread was tagged solved. Yeah im using a TV as a monitor.....i assume by you asking thats whats causing my issues.
@RN YES! that solved it, thank you!! I must've accidentally changed that value since an older backup file had the same problem but with only two of the bones. You have saved my day RN, thank you so much!
Thanks for the feedback! As far as transparency goes, I recently wrote a tutorial explaining how transparency works in TB2. Give it a read and let me know if this solves your issues or if you have further questions: http://www.marmoset.co/toolbag/learn/glass
Yes! Exactly your FYI information is accurate. Thank you for your response, that did solve my problem. I just added the 1 minus node after the vertex color true line in the roughness/glossyness node and kept the line as it was. Thanks!
Solved guys. After another hour searching the internet I came across this: http://www.gamedev.net/topic/623481-how-to-create-pre-multiplied-alpha-for-use-with-opengl/ I followed the steps for GIMP and it worked. No more white border. Thank you.
@DonEngland: You seem to have some proportional issues. I had them too and when I solved them it looked 10x better. I made a silhouete of the concept in PS, and then checked the silhoutte of screen of my model, it helped me a lot.
if you can find a IDE dvd drive somewhere(in the system you're on now?) try plopping that bad boy in there and seeing if it solves the problem. It may be some quirk with the sata drive..... very strange... oh yeah, what vig just said, lol
