Hey, ironbearxl: You probably have the "keyboard shortcut Override Toggle" button pressed at the top. Its one at the top with the little black arrow point up. Deselect that and your good to go.
can you add a back button when you are viewing the larger images. I'm so lazy to have to go up to my browser to click that. Would make navigation much easier.
How does it make UVmapping harder? I personally find it to be much easier to unwrap intersecting pieces, than meshes that are completely watertight. Its just a click of a button and then you´re done.
Thanks for your reply, but I mentioned already that one doesnt work properly when the cycle "in place" button is in use. In the tut video (not online unfortunately) he shows the difference but that was in max 6
Google turned up this, looks promising. Traditional, but should give you some ideas: http://www.realcolorwheel.com/waves.htm (There are a few more articles about waves after it, hit the next button at the bottom)
system units. work units i change as i feel like it. even made a shortcut button on the main toolbar for the units setup, as i continously change between milimeters, centimeters and meters.
also daz.. another important tip when rendering out displacement/ bump maps.. for a displacement map make sure the "mode" button is pressed under displacement settings.. for a bump map, unpress it..
most computers these days don't turn off even if you hit the power button. that teach got screwed and it's a sad sad day for logic and rational. Ban christians and break out the porn.
I hear that. I also didn't like that I had to talk to Midna to transform into a wolf every time too. A single button press would have been better, with a faster animation.
Right. Because as we all know Photoshop is not a "real" application. I do think photoshop, heck nearly all graphics apps, need that little "+" button from max. So helpful.
