Seems unlikely, with a little study. People are selling derivatives of this 'technology', and yet nobody has put up the money for a controlled (and thereby scientifically viable) study. International aids charities, in addition, shoot it down - http://www.avert.org/cure-for-aids.htm also…
Hi, I am a 3rd year Computer Science student, and me and my friends are doing a study on amateur 2D game artists. If you have a few free minutes of your time, feel free to fill out our questionnaire on Survey Monkey at [link removed] Thank you in advance! EDIT: The study is now over. Thank you to everyone who participated!…

I think you have some really nice studies. Good colours. I second Svrart, I guess you should try exploring your own ideas as well as doing studies to improve even more. I think you will end up really good at digital painting if you keep on.
Been a while since I have posted on here. I recently decided to start doing some anatomy studies. The first study I am doing is of a human female skull. It is still a wip as I am still trying to get proportions and shape right but any feedback would be great. Thanks in advance :)
Here is my study on the arm! Wow, I've never really studied arms before... this one was tough for me. Let me know your thoughts. Cheers Edit: I also prefer seperate weekly threads as well *Ooh I've also gotta do flexed, I'll make sure to do one
you need to build up your visual library. you dont have enough reference points to know what details goes inside the shape, do studies, look at references. it alwyas help to do a few studies on the subject your trying to make before you go into making your own version of it.
Ofcourse its okay to bump your own thread with an update O.o Although, I would advice you to start out smaller, and study anatomy WAY more, because this is terrible. Don't let it dishearten you though, but you gotta study a lot. You just cannot get away with hands like that.
Additionally, if you want a good reference for human head study for free right now you owe it to yourself to grab this. You would especially benefit from memorizing facial planes and studying rules he's got in there for proportions. http://www.alexhays.com/loomis/Andrew%20Loomis%20-%20Drawing%20the%20Head%20and%20Hands.pdf
Hi all, I'm an aspiring to become an Environment Artist, but currently aiming to become a Junior Environment Artist at the moment. I have a question about using textures in video games. For textures I know you can download them online from websites that allow you to use them in your portfolio work, and I have also heard…
