Turbosmooth destroyes uvs , opensubd preservesvthem to an extent , wich means u better check if is all OK with the UV after applying it. -

I think voxel engines will handle that to some extent in the not so far future, though non-static meshes are still a problem. -

If you're getting this issue with DDO, the problem likely comes from loading a file with no extension, like a *.PNG that was saved without *.PNG. -
