Max viewports... ugh. They're not very good at showing such things. Sounds like you'r doing it right for export into an engine. Make sure you're displaying the material as a direct-x material, other than that...
The only Xmas tracks allowed to be played in my home: Run-DMC: Christmas in hollis Eazy-E: Merry mutha******' X-Mas I guess it depends what kind of audience you have...;)
Still have trouble findign not only odd bands and individuals, but classical music and Opera of all things. Believe it or not some of Gen X and Y still listen to things older than the 20th century!
I know that Level contains the 'level' of specularity Raw is unadulterated Output = Raw x Level. There's nothing in the material's specular slot, but there doesn't need to be does there? Looking at the Level image posted, there's specularity present?
yeah it's running in dx9. i even reverted from direct x and then restarted max and reset everything back up. still no dice. this is what things look like. and this is what it should look like.
Un-ashamedly I'd suggest the apple displays. mine at work runs at 1680 x 1050 (because all apple displays are 72dpi) 90dpi screens are pretty much useless for what I do.
i went to microsoft.com to update my direct x, because i formated earlier you see, and the first thing i see on their main site is this. child bukakke. ugh. well, post other disturbing ads you have seen so we can have a giggle.
