Have you tried turning off all the hardware acceleration etc? It seems like a decent enough spec based on the numbers at least - the only unknown for me is the Gpu
I'd be interested. I had a fun time doing the last Brawl, and doing a new character for that sort of thing using modern specs and tools would be an interesting challenge.
~ meh. I saw some really choppy stuff on it that looked smooth as hell on a iphone 4. Maybe its something else spec wise that's really making the difference then
I just checked the brand new OSL bitmap in 3ds Max, because OSL has texture filtering in the spec. It compiles, but doesn't display with filtering disabled. Sorry.
You need padding on both your normals and diffuse(and all other maps, spec etc). It looks like the black background from your diffuse is bleeding through.
I always thought this was a cool concept. I think you could try pushing the spec map a little further. Adding points of interest instead of an overall noise.
Thanks for the feedback guys. This is kind of embarrassing but it looks like I never did roughness/spec maps for the tile texture either... I'll start changing some things.
