Zbrush has polish feature what can smooth everything. So you just do "realistic" version of that then you use that. :chuffed: Did you check my artstation or polycount page?
Thank you for the reply, I wasn't sure if adding the straps was a necessary to make the item more realistic (answering the question, how is it on the character) So I'm assuming this would apply with every character?
I thought Zelda looked pretty strange with realistic environment textures and flat/cartoon shaded characters. It's well executed but I don't enjoy clashing styles :# The effects look great though.
has a very "mini" feel to it were you going for the feel of the model or for more of a realistic feel? i think that its mostly the DOF style blur you have in there causing it though tbh
It start out great ! The way you modeled and textured the hand would lead you to a cell-shaded look in my opinion, even if your coat and your boots look quite realist.
really lovely work so far. I think you are nailing the style. Don't make those skulls too realistic. Looks like you already put too much detail into that.
Cubik:- I did do an art test for them to see if I could lower my beloved grungy, realistic style to soemthing more suitable. Cheers guys (jizz to Rockstar). john
Not bad for your first model. Maybe you should go for the realistic style first. Even if its a semi comic style thingy, the muscles etc are still located at the same places. /Palm
This, A lot of people seem to follow a rule that makes the edge more bevel, to avoid aliasing in game, and have more pixels on normal map. In my experience, it not worth it especially with realistic FPS assets
Too shiny. Less reflection would probably be more realistic. (See the pic below.) The model looks nice though! Tires look flat, maybe sit them on top of the sand more.
