Some other images to give an overview of how he looks and the related maps. All textures are 2048x2048 so they could be scaled down if needed. The entire scene comes to 12420 polygons.
Thanks for you comments, and yeah absolutely agree. Pretty silly of me actually to overlook that when I had no real polygon restrictions on this piece. Might go back and smooth it out.
Finished all the modular pieces, had to put some extra polygons on the walls, becouse i want to vertex paint some details later, tomorrow gonna start doing props.
Yes I did. That is one of the things I did before posting this problem. Since they are on the same polygon/mesh island what happen on one end will also happen on the other end.
Backface culling? I.e. not rendering those faces which face away and therefor they cannot be selected. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Back-face_culling Check under Display > Polygons > Backface Culling
you could add toucharcade.com for mobile related news and reviews can not recommend polygon anymore, very biased and unobjective nowadays, but probably a good place if you care for social stuff
For that piece of cloth thats going from the front of the house to the lamp post, do you guys think it needs thickness? or can i make do with only one polygon of thickness
Awesome-town-USA. He looks so fleshy and gross! You should try the PNTriangles tessellation method, its basically perfect for this sort of thing (smoothing out polygonal silhouettes).
Polygon proves that all reviews are the opinion of one person and that all reviews should be taken lightly. Reviews don't need to validate my beliefs. Can't wait to see if I enjoy it.
