Ha! The rubber was really soft and spongy a lot softer than the replacement they sent me. They sent me a package with a new pen and a flattened box to assemble and mail back the old one... yea didn't do that. I kept using it and got used to squeezing the rubber to click but then it got worse and I switched, what a shock… -

Really cool work man! The way the biceps are connecting is incorrect. There should be a small gap there where the insertion point is. I also think the facial features could be a bit more soft. I would imagine he would have a less prominent brow for example and larger ears as well. Really great work though, looking forward… -

As I understand it, any hard edges in the cage will cause "missed" areas in the bake; in this case, it's probably missing the nice soft edges on the high poly. Try making the cage all one smoothing group, and see if that helps. (I'm not sure if there's ever a reason to avoid one smoothing group for the cage, but it's all I… -
Re: Maya to 3dsmax , OBJ export options. Normals doesn't look fine unless i apply the "Edit normals".
The only way iam delivering the files are , not applying any soft/hard edges in maya importing into max adding the modifier "Edit normals" resetting them. After that i am just selecting the object in element mode and activating auto-smooth from the smoothing groups section and 90% of the work gets done :D Never knew 3dsmax… -

I've realized that marmoset handles shading and normals very close to how maya handles it to. So, as you say, it doesn't really matter. Dude, if you really need finish your project, make some backups and join the Quixel facebook and get 2.1.6 test, it really works great after quite a bit of testing. I almost thought i encountered a masking bug, but thank the gods it was good old, lovely, god-did-i-miss-its-soft-carress, user error. -

Maya: Hitting B and turning soft select on when I thought I was pressing V for vert snap. Then wondering wtf just happened to maya and why its gone all weird and wont let me just select a single anything anymore... Also guilty of the Caps lock thing...Maya and its damn world changing hotkeys in useful places...
