2nd image, left concept, to me, is a better choice. I like the vest, kneepads and loose cloth pants. I know you're already working on the concept you went with but consider that the one I mentioned, at least to me, is more interesting.

do you use the 1st channel for your normal uvs and 2nd as the generated? if so.. you need to insert the correct channel number into "lightmap coordinates" -field somewhere in the mesh's settings so ue4 knows which channel to use for lightmapping
Day 17 My 2nd attempt at making a hardsurface model solely in Zbrush. I was a little more comfortable this time. I did learn to retopo in Zbrush so that was cool. Still go some smoothing issues and some lines are not straight.
2nd this, every time I've logged on I've been alone or nobody responding. Thought it might be because I'm from "yurope" and everyone playing is from the us. Didn't feel like grinding on an empty server :( Amazing buildings/creations though.

i'm a master when it comes to timing :D so you re-use small parts for several ships but the main body is built unique? do the small parts share one big texture and then you've a 2nd texture for the unique body?
I think a visor with some sort of Hud in it could be really cool. Just an idea haha But it might be too small. Oh wow I didn't see the 2nd page hahah way past the visor, well gj! looking good.

yea pior blender is a bit strange and I was a big blender hater.. but they are getting better and better and with the new gui this could be the first version where I call this my 2nd modeling app (uv stuff is still bit zzZZZzz in v2.49)
