I can't figure out why the model bunches up around the middle when being relaxed. The inside faces (on the right) unfold perfectly. Any help is appreciated. I'm using Max 2014.
The paved parts are a separate material mapped top down in world space which gets around problems with distortion caused by unfolding the kerbs etc. straight
Hello, Yes its a static mesh, i checked the UV and nothing unfold there, i also try to change the triangulation and it just change the stretching direction.
I used Unfold 3d to uv a model, then when I finished I imported it back into 3ds max ,but when I go to render uv template, nothing happens, can anyone help?
If you're not using NSUV or a higher version of Maya, start with a simple camera map, straighten the middle loop, then inverse selection and Unfold (with option to pin unselected UV's).
