Yeah these people just cant catch a break. Really hope they get a cycle of good weather and no more quakes so they can just get moving on rebuilding and have some time to mourn. Sending positive vibes in that direction.
Are you noticing any difference in how its rendered in engine. Im not sure what kind of nm compression they are doing. I know some game engine will drop a color channel (like green) and rebuild it real time.
Be sure that there aren't any errors or warning when you build, also you can check the surface properties. If that doesn't work try remaking the BSP, I would just copy, delete and paste a new brush then try rebuilding.
Still got the same message, and now once I load up the map from the menus once launched in UDK.exe it crashes. EDIT: Okay well, I fixed the crashed by doing a full rebuild and compile, but the messages still appear.
Not too many changes today, because I spent around 2 days and did hundreds of lightmap rebuilds by experimenting with lightmass settings and UV for lightmaps. Still have some issues, but now I know how to fix them.
It's really nice that you thought about the knee topology, but neitherless I would start over since the base topology looks very off. I would take a look wireframe from games (or tutorials) and try to rebuild them.
if you really wanna get it to feel like your REAL airbrush, you could take the chip that is in there, and flip it upside down, slice a slit in the top of the casing, and cut off the huge lump on the bottom, then rebuild the casing with apoxy or something ^^
Hi guys, so I decided to rebuild the gun from scratch and take into to account the feedback received. I'm still working on the textures but I'm already a lot happier with this one. Let me know if there's anything I could improve on :)
Ive been doing a rehaul on the whole 200sx, had alot of good critique and ive pretty much rebuild the topology from the ground up, much happier that this fits with the ref now. Boom, still so much left to do.
Duplicate the subtool. Zremesh the duplicate. Then, with only those two subtools visible, all other subtools hidden, Project All onto the duplicate. If you had any subdivision levels, then you would repeat the Project All to rebuild the levels.
