No I didnt answer my question, Im saying the same problem continues to happen even on a different pc. And I know I can save out hotkey configs and reload them, but I shouldnt really havto do that. It shouldnt revert to defaults on its own -

I'm going to start a thread for the Prop for August. We can continue the discussion on length of time for Challenges over the next few weeks and come to a consensus. Perhaps having a prop challenge designated for each month and an environment for the 2-month period would cover our bases. -

Don't missunderstand me, you didn't dissapointed me, the work is amazing, really amazing, i wish i could do something similar (hopefully if i continue learning someday...) was just a personal opinion to make it look perfect, but other than that i really love it. -

Thanks for the great feedback @Zi0 The presentation is also a skill I need to improve. @oxygencube I enjoy characters, I won't stop doing this, but I should do enviroment & props too @Odow I think on that and continue to work a lot and post my stuff on polycount. -
Re: Geometry stretching when applying surface noise : making sense of the issues
Ok, so use dynamesh if you continue to get stretching. You want your models to have the same poly density across the entire mesh. Dynamesh will do this. Just take your current triangle shape and run dynamesh on it, play with the various settings to see it's effects. -

Thank you Jimmy! I came from a fine art background and haven't really used it in my texture work, I mainly used Photo Manipulation, but now I am going to continue with this style of work, i will post more stuff as soon as I have it. -

Hello, doesn't matter anymore. It works today. :) It seems like it was ignoring me changing the Width while creating the material. Not, with some reason, it works like it supposed to. Me happy if it continues to work properly. Sorry for the "fake topic" then I guess. Moderators can delete it. Thanks :) -

Full material: If you want albedo texture too, then you need the albedo texture parameter 3 times, and the same continue as what the roughness map has in my example (multiplies->adds->lerp), and you can connect the original tri-planar coordinates into them as uvs. -

So we will continue. After applying some effort mudbox work was completed. The next step was to create hairstyles. Hair was done in Maya, and there have been set up materials and lights. But let's get to the results. Model with height map and normal map: And fully textured: With wireframe:
