I would like to see your .obj, please upload! On the right is the edited low poly, so basically I could have saved my base low poly before adding the supporting edge rings and go with this, instead of re-doing it by working the high poly to low poly? I think I'm still missing parts of the process, the typical workflow you…
It's really not that scary if you think about it. Let's take a look at the scene after I've highlighted some areas: (by the way, I have no idea what I'm doing with the colours, I just did what made sense to me, I'm sure there's a right way to do this) The red parts are the two key props you'll need to create for the scene,…
Nice work, in some areas I feel there is to much repetition, as in the same material is used for too many parts, I think it would be nice to break these areas up a bit like the air tank.
Hey there guys! After seomtime I finally finish one of the scenes for our game Asterion. I want to share it with you some of the process behind the scenes (you were a great part of it too) and see what do you think. Thanks a lot for all the help in the forum! And I hope you like it!…
hey guys! Finished sculpting the last parts of the model (straps and what not) and also sculpted his shield. Thought it would be cool if the shield was the HAL 9000 computer! ref image for the shield : and update: Thanks!
Looking good! I agree with the variation on the rocks, the repetition is too noticeable. There also appears to be some warping on the roof? Not sure if you have touched the white parts yet but I reckon that texture could give off a huge impact (Considering there's a lot of it on screen and it's the brightest value).
Hi @ThisisVictoriaZ and @Neox Thank you @ThisisVictoriaZ for clarifying me with the process gif workflow, i will take some screens of every step i made in the process as you show me in your exemple. Thank you @Neox for your big constructive feedback. You are right, it's not an excuse and not professional from me when I…
Laid in some base tones to work off of so that everything can stand on its own without the lines. Next I get to really render everything out and add the finer details to make it pop. Here comes the fun part!
Maybe add some "killed grass/insects leaks" and mud on the lower part of the vehicle ( don't know how to explain this kind of dirty surface ). The model looks really nice and remembers well the junkrat's colorsheme =) Keep up the good work !
Hi! It would help if you marked the issue on your screenshot so it's clear to what part you're referring to. At first glance, it looks like the UVs could use some straightening to minimise aliasing artifacts at the seams. Generally one could attempt to put the seams in places where they are less prominent. Share a…
