Newer stuff will always be better but the basic concepts should be the same. The buttons might not look the same or menu items might not be in the right place in UDK, but the ideas and information should be mostly applicable.
Max doesn't gracefully switch bitmap UVs for the viewport display. If the bitmap is set to UV2, you might try toggling the Show Map button again, force it to use UV2 in the viewport.
Finally an application for the Infinite Detail Engine. That reminds me its time to do my yearly checkup on that thing with a short prayer said just before i hit the searh button.
Hi monster, Right clicking and loading the function curve did get my curves back but I had to expand everything and the typical 'Close' button is still missing :/ Thanks btw
You can usually change basic colour variation on the monitor menu buttons in conjunction with THIS. Otherwise there should be more advanced controls in your monitor display software. Should be easily done.

That color picker adjustment feature is an amazing idea. How didnt anyone think of this before ? You should really replace that unity button skin tho that looks very poor : P
its the Flood from Camera button under steady stroke in the Projection Properties. Edit: also turning on the falloff based on facing Angle will fade the edges on the silhouette so it blends better.
You need to see your entire canvas to be able to frame it to the borders. There's a zoom button in the right corner of your UI above the canvas. You'll find scroll, zoom, actual and AAHalf there..
