I'm having some issues with the High Res Screenshot function in Unreal. All my screens turn into a blurry mess when using it. Tried it on several different computers and it's the same on all of them. Anyone run into something similar?
I'd stay away from C shaped planes for teeth. With the polygonal limits generally in the air, id probably go in make a low res version of the gums. Also, use the search function to check out more info :)
That fist would look bad ass. if you could get it to look functioning too that would be sick. i really like the Dominate eye logo though, put that on like a banner or something. that's a nice design with the cracks too.
In max that normally means you are looking at the back side of the poly and it needs to be flipped. Typically that happens when something is inversely scaled like using the mirror tool. I'm not sure if Maya suffer from the same backwater functionality...
How stable is Zbrush R7 for everyone? - I have no problems so far. As for the Wacom problem, open the wacom control panel with Zbrush open and add Zbrush as a specific application then program the pen button functions for Zbrush manually.
Pretty sweet. I don't get how people make all this curved architecture and stuff in 3D. I suppose it might be easier if I actually used the modeler functions instead of trying to model everything by hand though.
For Doom 3 you can also save all layers separately (with the overlays still reduced to 0-127 in the blue channel) and use the addnormals() function in your material. That allows you to use different overlays for different skins.
