Yeah, it was like this on the ref, and a big ribbon would be more expensive to print ( it's amazing how some centimeters can change the price... ). Anyway, here is the other one. Still need to work on the body a bit, but I'll need to go dynamesh to continue. The next one won't have such massive boobs. ^^ -
Re: Tablet beginner/coordination awkward
If your tablet is large enough, try resting it on your lap, propped up against the edge of the desk. This'll mimic drawing on a sketch pad, will keep your desk free for your keyboard so you don't have to move shit around continuously, and you get to use it for shortkeys. -

I see what you mean, and I have some ideas. I will continue working on this until I am satisfied that I have a grip on the techniques needed to produce something amazing. Thank you for sticking with me and not just dumping it off as hopeless. I really appreciate the help. -

Thanks Commador, I am aiming to continue participating in the weekly challenges. I've learnt a lot already, just by following this thread :) Thanks for the critique, I was finding it hard to see if that inner part was flat or not. I'm pretty noob with gun lingo but I'm guessing the flash hider is the fronty part? :) -

Had a pretty important exam which sucked up most of my time. It's over now so I can get back on track and continue painting :) That helped so much!! No idea how to thank you :poly136: Here's what I managed to do by following your steps. -

Thank you for your edit @Torch, I expect a lot of mixed reactions, just like 3 months ago, when I first announced it. I'll continue working on the site, regardless of negative comments. I have some powerful competitors, I know, but we're slowly getting there. -

Just to clarify, don't go back and redo anything, I'm saying continue from where you left off. Slipsius is right, the geometry is what it is, but the textures and presentation are definitely unfinished. Spend a short amount of time (a week or two) fixing JUST those parts, and then start something new. -

I'm pretty sure that's the magnetic one you saw. There was another site but it's been ages since I looked into this so I'm trying to find it. Why not start with studying digital anatomy figures/scans first and then maybe get an expensive maquette when you're sure you will continue sculpting? -

So have they actually done anything at all to improve NEX inside of Maya? It was a pain like you say activating/deactivating NEX all the time, not really a smooth workflow. Guess we have to wait for that in 2019, meanwhile Modo continues to knock out awesome stuff every release.
