Ahh... Got it. Been awhile since I used Maya, but I do remember selections being a lot cleaner, definitely. Vig's explanation of the error makes sense.
Awesome idea and execution! Getting this error in max9: For now I just commented out all lines with that function call. Breaks the script a little bit, but it's still awesome.
Yeah, it ended up copying the directional lighting from the old scene and throwing an error. I deleted that light and it still kept some of the world properties of that lighting scheme.
Can you display the errors in the red Jmiles? Its showing something to do with "not containing the skinning data" And I hope people helped you out in the tech talk....
Hmmm. Getting an error trying to open it in CS2... "Could not complete your request because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered." Winders says the file size is 2,301,952 bytes.
