They actually introduced you to the staff members and gave you a tour? I suppose you are initiated to the team. Good luck with your job and cool stuff. :) Congrats once again.
Noice. Was that in the initial derelict/betlog model_design on IRC, or the Qantm gamedev course debacle? I dread to think what tools we used back then. qME still haunts me.
The short answer, is add more geo around the curve when you initially created it. Shapes that need smoothing like this often come up in the sticky up top, here.
Started playing it, it's very involved and confusing initially... Anyone know how to get some Anti-Aliasing going? And GPU Physics? I have a 660ti but can't seem to turn that on.
Yes smart dynamesh is a bit slow with project, unfortunately it's a bit of an necessary option to get crisp results. The advantage is that after the initial long wait time dynameshing is quick with the gesture.
I bet this was initially a joke idea from some random dev that somehow worked its way up the corporate ladder until it got to someone that didnt realize it was a joke
My initial thought upon seeing the first few images was that it was made with Sub-Ds. Very clean modeling in zbrush. I'd love to check out the dvd when it's completed.
Id like your initial thoughts on the motion. the character. do you find this interesting. this is not the full scene. but the character dodges an attack. while getting up is attacked by another character
Sculpting. Was going to use my initial base mesh I had already created but wanted to experiment with a process of creating the base mesh entirely in ZBrush using ZSpheres and ZRemesher.
