Setup: You have Mesh 1 that is your old mesh, with your old diffuse texture and your old UVs. You also have Mesh 2, which is your new mesh with your new UVs and no texture yet. For the metal you need to have a darker diffuse, like below 50 on the RGB scale, including the gold. Metal is defined by the spec and gloss, with little to no detail in the diffuse by itself. Yes, but the package with the name of the level, that is automatically created, is reserved only to the concent generated by the engine for your level. You need to save your staticmeshes, textures, etc, in another package. And in this one you can make the groups to order them. Just don't use the package that already exist… -

You can tweak the tilling of every single map you input in the material editor. (Or at least the option is there if you click the little ">" symbol next to the input slot) but you're right, they locked the spec and bump tilling to the diffuse tilling parameters, so it doesnt work even if you force another tiling value…
