watch the bumps man, they are your (our) enemy :) .Best to do is put a material with some spec and gloss so you can notice the bumps.

Very nice work ! For spec you need a Blinn model instead of a Phong. Check this shader : http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=101107.

as far as i can see no. I did mostly interior work,texture mapping,unwrapping,normals specs etc. Basiclly environment art.
