Just wanted to update my thread, I've finished my creature and now I'm blocking out my base that I want him standing on. For the base I might try a small tropical scene, kind of like he is stalking through the brush. I still need to block in the grass and some big rain forest like plants. I will be updating soon. Great to see it finally released, but it's a right shame it currently only works with OS 3.1 and not below. A big percentage of iPhone users (including myself) don't/can't update yet, whether their phone is unlocked or they just want to avoid the few bugs that are present in the latest update. Dropbox has saved me many… -

Small update - just changed the mag a bit (as originally it was of an earlier type, thus it had a slightly different design than the plum mag). I also finished the, so called "Bakelite" orange mag. I had a harder time than expected reproducing the marbled look of the material, but I think the end result is close enough...… -

Ok, here is the latest update. I removed the blue lighting areas and colored the shadows more blue(I don't know if all of them are noticeable). I reduced the darker shadows too so they aren't entirely black. I also added the texture flat in this update so you can critique that as well. But I'm gonna call this done unless… -

The reason the image is the same on my last post was because I overwrote the the image with an update and kept the same name so I guess it just updated itself in the last thread. I did desaturate the diffuse map to show the paint has aged but I guess I kinda went overboard on it. I'll go in and fix it up. Thanks for the… -

Well i can talk from experience when i say our LD docs go out of date OFTEN. They either change so much and dont update the docs or they change alot and dont be detailed when updating the docs. So alot of the time i often have to pester them to get info about LD. It takes alot of time and effort to keep those things… -

I started working on this with MoP's UV's. The head at 128x128 works like a charm IMO :) . but somehow max's view port isn't automatically updating the image! I have to go into the material editor and hit reload on the diffuse material... any idea how to set it back to automatically updating? i'm running 3ds max 2009 x64.… -

the image doesnt show for me thanfully.... so why would you show people that kind of crap anyway? its not microsoft that has the ad. its most likely because you went online after formatting without any kind of firewall/internet updates/spyware protection. download all updates/programs BEFORE you format, burn them to disc… -
