This is pretty close to being an oxymoron. You shouldn't aim to have like 8 mediocre-but-finished-sorta pieces in your portfolio, you should aim to improve so that you're only showing your absolute best. If it's "rushed" it shouldn't be on your portfolio.
sorry, I mean in maya 7 or 8 there is a tool to bake normal map,we can get object/tangent space normal map ,but how can we get tangent space normal map from low version maya? there is no that tool.
I'd say his torso is pretty long - which results in an 8-and-a-half heads height and I think that's jarringly tall considering the face isn't idealised at all... That said, I've been known to say this more often, but people always disagree.
I did both 512 and 1024 and was still at a very low poly count. Base count for the cube would be 8 anyway, and maybe the size makes it so it doesn't reach into the 6 digits. I tried scaling up and down with similar results.
So final post! Glitch Dash is now out on App Store and Google Play, finally! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUvhMZewhpA Thanks to everyone who have been following along these last 8 months :) Now go download it!! :D

I think the textures needs more dirt, it just looks too "clean" :P I like what you have done so far, just not keen on the 8 sided bin. If it really has to be that low poly then try to disguise it a bit
[ QUOTE ] Turn off the lights while people are undergoing surgery? [/ QUOTE ] I have to agree with plaing. I conduct two to three surgeries a day in my house around 8:00, and i just can't afford to turn of the lights for an hour.
Im about 7 or 8 hours in and Im loving it. Been playing it tons since I got it. You can't really expect it to be as complicated a story and characters as the newer final fantasies, but its still very fun. Art is pretty kickass as well.
Well you can get your whole body frozen, but I'd imagine it'd cost 8 times more than if you were just getting the head done. Then again, maybe this isn't the sort of thing you should cheap out on.
