EDIT: 2nd video, behind-the-scenes hype video Start 2:20 for Bruce loosening up. Back muscle definition in particular. Arms states, tense to relax. https://youtu.be/GAYHrhf4KUc?t=140 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIzkc5ouE2E
either way might work but should probably get the model in your rendering engine with some basic textures, that way you can see what effect those changes would have on the final product. For example if you have one less edgeloop to hold the shape of the cylinder it might look bad once you have real lighting applied. Or…
Some companies are high enough up the food chain to ask for that kind of thing if they want. Make sure you aren't looking at the high end companies. (Blizz, Bioware, Valve). Also, from what I understand companies will hire if you have a good portfolio and resume no matter the experience, so make sure you do. I am assuming…
Silhouette of large mtn in 2nd image looks a little unrealistic. Otherwise seems like a good basis for adding vegetation. Hard to critique a barren land, so keep going and post your progress.
Thanks! I think the witch has potential, but I really like big bulky shapes, so I decided to refine the 2nd turret first, here's a second attempt (still very rough).
yeah I just checked it out...it doesnt seem to like/ remember my 2nd/tablet monitor. Always reverts to monitor 1, and doesnt remember settings. It's a shame, because the tool look nice
Put the reference behind your mesh, on planes in your viewport. Both front and side. Like the bottom of the 2nd page I linked. Does your mesh match up? Doesn't look like it.
Your 'wizardy' ones (the 2nd and 4th ones) are my favs. Beautiful and imaginative sculpts. The VFX for the 4th one's spell could match the rest better, so maybe we'll see that in the textured version?
Thanks man! Yeah, I think that's partly because of lightmap issues on the 2nd map channel, but also because I need to adjust the specular map for the pipes/wires, since they are referencing a separate material.
Pure sex. I actually like the more rust colored version, it looks more post apoc imo but if post apoc isn't the goal then go with the 2nd one, it does pop a little better.
