When I started working in the film/commercial industry some people had a negative view of the fact of studying to become a cg artist. One even went as far as saying that you won't need to study that long(3 years?) to learn a program(maya in that case). Now the same people are complaining about not being able to get work… -

I was originally inspired to make art through 2d animated cartoons on saturday morning. So typically Ill search out interviews with those guys - the old nine ect - or BIOs... or the actual cartoons. I suggest finding the place or situation that originally inspired you in an artistic way, then go there and wallow in it.… -

18: getModifier will give you the actual state of the shift/ctrl/alt/capslock keys, not if there was a keystroke event earlier. If it is what you are looking for, then just like me you are pretty much stuck and will be forced to implement some sort of wrapper function with a loop somewhere looking for the change of state… -

Yeah I understand what you mean Wombat, didn't think of that! I was reading a website that gave all the stats of different platforms and then I made the models with those platform stats in mind, so put the logos to show it would be easy to use in those types.
