Runs great on both of my machines. No performance bugs on either one. MacBook Pro Dual core w/ 4GB ram it runs great. On my Mac Pro 8 Core w/ 16GB Ram runs even better ;) Thanks so much!
Oops, forgot to post yesterday and the day before! (7 and 8 of february 2020) Baked more asset, and tried to fix Michael's face! I'm still trying to figure out how to make his cheeks, as he is smiling just a little bit.
Saturday night (8/24) I finished the retopology. If you have any feedback please do let me know! I used as many references as I could find but I feel like it could still use some work.
32bit dispmaps do that out of the box. Black is zero and negative values push inside. If you use 8 or 16bit you could move the center with "zero value". https://docs.arnoldrenderer.com/display/A5AFMUG/Displacement?desktop=true¯oName=multiexcerpt-include
I got the latest version of quixel suite 2 version 2.3.0 PS 2017 cc 64bit My system: Windows 10 64 bit Geforce Gtx 970 Intel core i5 3.30 ghz 3.60ghz 8 gb RAM :)
I'd do this in Nuke, ( or natron ) because as you say photoshop clamp the viewport value. ( at least for me ) You just want to move your blackpoint until your mid value is set to 0.5, then you'll be able to use it as a 8 or 16bit map
theres something very scary about this.. Games Owned:101 Games Played:93 Games Never Played:8 Percentage Played:92.08 % Total Hours:3721.40 and that's that it isn't showing the 3000+ hours I racked up in L4D authoring tools
No, right now would be current-gen. Seriously lads we're 8 months away from having PS4's and nextbox's under our tellys. Next-gen is those consoles; not the ones we have now. No need to confuse the issue.
Thanks to everyone! Quick update! The game is now live on Amazon and iOS! Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017BZIUXA iOS: http://https//itunes.apple.com/us/app/porta-pilots-plunging-through/id1038193739?ls=1&mt=8
Not much to crit on the artwork, it looks great. But please use JPG. 8MB or so per image is really excessive, especially for those viewing on mobile. Better to keep each image under 1MB. JPG at level 7 or 8 is great image quality.
