its similar enough to the earlier iseries that its cheaper, its like what happened with the core2's, the first wave was a bit more expensive, the 2nd was more affordable, an earlier adopter fee.
https://www.artstation.com/contests/ancient-civilizations/challenges/16 My character got the 2nd place in the challeng. It was a fun ride. Thank you all that were daily with me on twitch. See you on the next one ;)
This is impressive! Not sure about your lighting issue. I originally thought it was your light maps in the 2nd UV channel, but this look like a bigger problem then your light maps. Maybe post this in the "Technical" forum?
2nd version is finished! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=690789921 I only changed it slightly from the last update: saturation on the blue parts is higher and contrast is optimized. Thanks again for all the feedback!
The default vertex color is white which might the reason why that setup is not working. You should paint your mesh black for the first texture and afterwards red, green, blue for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th one.
looks fuckin awesome :) the close shots are my favorites, especially the composition of the shot at the top of the 2nd page. If you can get a shot like that with all of your most recent additions that'd look money
Very nice! I'm a fan of your 2nd Nidalee design, myself. As for the composition, my suggestion would be either @2 or #3 on the 6-thumb comp page you did. Keep up the good work!
ya i agree with Minotaur0 about the right side. should be fine if your just throw some warm light like you got in the forfront there with a console or crates for interest, or maybe even a 2nd door.
unique UV's was the first order of business for me to abolish when it came to environment art on DoW2. Now I get overlapping and flipped UV's all while maintaining a 2nd channel for the occlusion bullshit. mwuahahaha
I 2nd that, it's amasing how quick you can knockup a high res model. Make sure you watch the camera video tutorial, it's a good showcase, and it'll have you up and running in no time.
