Confirm on my behalf, even with the latest update, the UV Editor will ignore your Preserve function sometimes, and sometimes it will only show the symptoms AFTER you have collapse the UV layer on the mesh. *insert edgy autodesk complaint in here*
FBX will murder any rig. There are fundamental components that do not save into the FBX format. At best the joints and skin MIGHT come through, but you'll lose a lot of the controllers, constraints, wire parameters and a ton of other things that the rigs need to function.
Moose: Does the UE3 editor still have the t3d brush export functionality? As that would be one way to more easily transport maps from Gears to UT3. Not super simple of course, but it would save remaking the BSP from scratch.
Can he lift his arms above his head? Without getting stabbed in the neck? Can he bend at the waist without being impaled my his own 'armor'? Will it be able to animate at all? it doesn't look functional...
so far i've only seen serious sam 2 strip this bind Swim up/swim down has been phased out pretty much for redunancy when you can combine both functions with jump/crouch
thanks for the response cody, i have been reading about the crysis wars sdk but i was wondering if you loose functionality over the standard crysis toolbox as it seams to be geared towards multiplayer mods? If not then it may well be a good solution.
I had this sorta keyboard once, though I think it was sleep rather than power. I removed the keys too, and its cousin function keys which were close. Useless buttons that just mess up the workflow.
1. http://www.planetquake.com/polycount/cottages/horribledeath/tut-alpha.htm That might help there... basically just turn on Show Map in Viewport at the top level of the material. 2. Yeah, there's no image attach function. Go to www.photobucket.com or www.imageshack.us and upload files there.
they're called Labels, Lee. and you can set more than one for a message, so they're better than folders for us tidy people. :P It's the same functionality, just without the cute little folder icon to the side.
this is built into maya i am pretty sure, i remember seeing this functionality pointed out in the stop staring book by Jason Osipa. i just thought in my head " hmm i can just use skin morph for that... "
