If you want to stick with just having one stub you can go with something similar the one on the far right. You can drill a hole through it if you want to keep that too. Now if you want to switch to having two studs while keeping the hole I think the one next to the far right is a pretty good. -

I too would love to see a MechWarrior movie. I've always been interested in seeing the last two unfilmed story acts of M. Night Shyamalan's Unbreakable made into a movie; back when he used to make good films that is. Reboot: James Bond back in the 1960's Enough Already: Indiana Jones and Star Wars -

@AlexCatMasterSupreme - Me neither, but I'm having fun! @ambershee - Not far off, multiple scene render passes but only two baked textures to speak of in that last one, both procedurally generated too. Glad the colours inspire you, that's what sharing is all about @kodde - Thanks man, I have a few more up my sleeve :) -

I just did this quickly to show two areas that I think might be good to start. The whole angle of the cheek seems a bit off, I think you might need to bring the cheek bone in a bit to help correct that. You also need to bring the area under the eye closer into the nose. Square the chin a bit too :) -

I was at the same point when I started my HK416 (though I never made a realtime version of it). I just made test bakes to see if the highpoly edges transfered well into a normal map. All of these three versions work. On the first one only the softest angles are a bit too soft (to me). Version two looks nice. -

very nice, i would say that all your concrete bits look a little bit too rounded - almost more like pebbles on a beach than broken up concrete. it might be nice to have some cracked bits where the two broken edges conform to each other so you can see they clearly used to be one. -

Damn, this is really nice. I would love to ask you a question or two on how you are doing this. I am starting a new UDK project for my portfolio and I am burning with questions! I still have to figure out what to ask do haha, but that terrain looks lovely. Did you paint that concept too? -

Here is the two meshes in wire frame mode. The top one is the problematic mesh with the closed eye hole. The bottom one is the one that I'm not having issues with and the open eye hole. On the top one, I can see where the mesh is intersecting with the iris geometry and causing this I think. The thing is, it appears to be… -
