Theres that crazy Gel-pack type stuff that is in one of the DM space maps in UT3. It's uber slow travel, but offers a cool sort of 360 fighting/traveling style (could manipulate the speed in the volume in the engine though). Might be a bit slow/complex/out of style for this map, but an idea anyways. All I can picture for…
funny, I looked into this a couple of months ago by doing what mop suggested. From the side profile, current cars appear to have the A pillar (windscreen) pointing to the front axle, the B pillar (central column in a four-seater) pretty much inline with and on roughly the same angle as the driver's seat. No, dont go to Pier 39 kub. Check out Haight Ashbury If you haven't allready been. The top of Coit tower provides an amazing 360 degree panorama of the city. http://www.sfstation.com is a good 'whats on' city guide.

As a big Halo1/2 fan the trailer and the grenade thingy make me feel like going out and buying Halo 3, not the grenade thingy itself, but the fact that they are coming up with new and innovative gameplay material. but I gots no 360 yet
Isn't Mass Effect a Sci-Fi game for the 360? You'll run into a few problems trying to paint "next gen" textures by hand. The final textures you see in screenshots and in-game, are actually a few textures stacked on top of each other. Normal map, spec map, defuse, map there could be a procedural pass in there too. So are…
