This is the best i can get out of this image for example. Its on its own layer and i press the shape ---> normal button on Ndo's main menu and then adjust the settings i see. -

yeah reload button is pretty crap. I'd even click view image and see my updated texture pop up in the window, but not on the model. Hopefully autodesk fixes it at some point. -

Just model it? I mean it's just many planes modeled in the shape of feathers stacked together to from a wing. Don't complicate your life by looking for a 'magic' button that will solve the issue. -

Actions don't record brush strokes, so that won't work. The "use all layers" button doesn't do what I'm trying to do, either. Good suggestions, though. Thanks -

Oh! I don't know at all. I just know that I don't have to save anything, just click a button, and the magic never fails to happen :P Great tool. -

There's a button that looks like a mountain with a sun behind it. If you click that, you can paste the address of the image, and it'll put it in image tags. Alternatively, you can do them manually: -

We had similar problems at work, but fixed it with a driver update. we had another thing where my left hand kept catching one of the buttons and locing up the pen. -

It's pretty dang swanky, but anything that forces someone to install a plugin will likely turn them away rotating is done with the left most-button, btw. Click it, then click/drag on the model to rotate. -
