From the video it seems that you are trying to unwrap an n-gon, and I think that algorithm can't figure out how to solve it. Try to tessellate to a decent amount of polygons, there should be an internal tool or plugin that do that in 3ds Max.
I built basically the same system (different case) in december with the 560 ti, same amount of ram and a i7 and its been absolutely awesome to me. I'm sure the 670 is a killer improvement if its in your budget though.
HA! I love the trailer trash theme you have going here. Classic! My only beef is the massive amount of tris I can see in your base mesh. But that is just my nit picking if you will.
Wow.. congrats! I know it's all volunteer run, and there's no guarantee, but considering a lot of guys put incredible amounts of free time into their entries with the hope of winning prizes (not to mention PTO time to work on it)... Just seems a bit wrong.
hah! epic fail john, maybe if you spent the same amount of time on cricket than catering to far right groups you would be super awesome - though you'd still be butt_ugly lol heh "i'm the muther'rudder'.....
Cool people around and we can all talk freely Natural light in the room Nice weather outside (I live in the UK, so this is guesswork AC that works properly (again....guesswork) A good amount of free space
Thermidor, massive improvement. Have you been studying Masakazu Katsura Sempai's Art Style? You seem to have almost captured a true essence's of Iori. How did you create such a improvement in such a short amount of time?
I voted for images in signitures, since I spent a fair amount of time making this awesome sig that I'm currently using at another forum: [edit] it doesn't look quite as good on a dark background Everybody loves Hypnotoad!
Oh wow I've totally glossed over that every time I've used it. I've always just adjusted the inner/outer amount and left it at that. I'll have to play with it, could save quite a bit of time. Thanks for the tip!
Mesh smooth, Here's a wire before mesh smoothing, and the reason it looks so dense is because of the amount of detail I'm trying to put into getting the hands to come alive, not there yet but textring should help and here's an update on the hoody
