I like this one! Would love to see it pushed more in terms of texture detail. I realize it's stylized but I think things like beer stains, and other little marks would go a long way.
Youre the best. Cheers!!! And about the new wood. thats acctually better. However it reads more realisticly then stylized. Atleast for me. But its tons better than the old one. Keep on going!!! good job
Courtesy of Leslie "Ravenslayer" van den Broeck, here is a full 1½ hour break-down of his workflow using DDO for stylized texturing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0A7Pq8bY3SM We hope you like it!
Armor looks fantastic! That being said the face doesn't look like it's even in the same art style. The armor is stylized but high detail while the face looks halfway to a cartoon in it's undefined softness. Great armor though.
https://plus.google.com/hangouts/_/d97bfef16fd16a7721a70273ff4bbafa38483a22 LATE NIGHT PARTYPOLYCOUNT KREW. I'm gonna be making some stylized shit (or so I hope) this will be my first time a while so be nice :3 AND COME JOIN ME.
I was going for a stylized macho Batman but I see now that it looks more like the Hulk dressing up as Batman for Halloween. Oh well. I still learnt a lot though that's what counts I guess.
Day 10 of #3December! I decided to use Substance Painter to do the texturing with this one. I wanted to go with a slightly more stylized look this time around so I removed a bit of the noise information. model
Yeah agreed guys, i guess its hard to decide the right and wrongs when its a stylized character, but as for the nose what would you suggest, to buff up the nostrils more, tighten it up more ? cheers .
I think you are making the Jacket too puffy, In the concept it looks more Stylized and Less tick in material, like hard cloth like the one used in jeans. but for the rest its looking good, keep going ;)
I had doubts about this movie too but still went to go see it. It' actually not bad at all. The GI radiosity is excellent although the smoke and particle effects seemed too realistic for such a stylized movie. Loved it nonetheless!
