Yes small artifacts like that are normal (no pun intended) when having hard edges like that. It's due to the fact that a hard edge is in essence splitting that edge. Not time to panic but definately cause for concern indeed. The blame does not entirely fall on everydays Americans, goverment has its faults as well. Hey guys, I just start to learn Substance designer this week and i love it ! I saw the tread of Nicholas Garilhe and NicolasW. Those guys inspired me and gave me the motivation to learn this software. I will post my improvement with Substance on this tread. I started to make a rock floor after the rain. C&C :)

Heres my final character sheet for this project. Im on winter break now, so I'm gonna take a break from this toon and maybe mess around on some old WIP's. Lemme know what you think! Thanks!
you know computron, what i find useful when working with something that has a lot of islands is making sure that you break up the smoothing group at the same spot that the island breaks, That way the normal does all the blending.
Hey guys, sorry for the long break, here's an update where I'm at so far. My professor did a paintover a little while ago on an older image, and I'm going to make props to break up dem straight lines :)
