hrm, your the first one to encounter any problems. just loaded it up again, hope its functional now. what browser are you using? *edit* ... make that a *edit & blush* thxalot mate
Nice block-out, similar to what i was trying to going for with my sketch. I look forward to seeing how you will develop the different areas and design them to suit their function... The bar shack has intrigued me...
I think the integrated NEX tools are getting in the way of a lot of functionality I have since gotten used to from 2013, and it's quite irritating to say the least. You should try using Collapse for merging down edges.
What they're trying to say is that the smoothing groups need to match your UV shells. One smoothing group will give you errors. Textools has a pretty handy function that will do it for you, so you might look in to that.
For the SplineFFD, you can check out rapidTools set here https://rapidmxs.com/store-main/rapidtools/ it has many other cool functions as well. If you want falloff just turn on the max standard soft selection.
Forgive my noobness, but what do you mean by "passthrough"? Hardware stuff is beyond me. I share the same mutant powers as Jubilee - Any electronics I touch are instantly rendered useless and void of all functionality.
Awesome! Worked perfectly! Is there no preview button for most of these functions/modifiers? Applying and then ctrl+z is a lot more tedious to preview than just sliding it around and seeing the results in real time. (Though the tools are wicked cool :P)
That's not going to work for what I'm trying to do. I'd like to modify the position map after its been baked. I'm thinking that the best approach if there isn't a built in function would be to make a custom pixel processor node.
What?! Admittedly the bake could have been done in ndo rather than baked, but i don't understand why you are saying to use the nvidia filter OVER ndo? It takes no longer and has infinitely more functionality.
This is cool. Their script does exactly what I want. The only problem is that you have to have their IC.Shape menu open in order to use those functions. Means that you can't just set a keyboard shortcut to it and forget about it.
