That is correct. I decided having two windows to work with was too much of a hassle so I merged the materialCenter into materialList. Thanks Cube! Shouldn't be too long until the basic models have been fixed up. Unfortunately right now I've got a week (maybe two) of overtime at work, so I'm getting a lot less time in the evenings to work on this. Right , right , sorry. Basically the other tries revolve around what these two look like. Don't pay attention to the extremely over sized scratches on the second picture, just look at the underlying base. :P Basically, I get stone, and then something that is too dark with no real color variation when put on my model. -

When you say that masked textures creates too harsh a transition, do you mean there's an obvious edge around the hair? If thats the case, you may need to save your texture in a different format. my two cents, TNO, people aren't saying your model is creepy to insult you, they are expressing their opinion, and one of the worst things you can do is ignore or disregard comments about your artwork because you don't like what they are saying. after some googling I turned this up, maybe it can be of use -

I would get rid of two of the loops running across the nose horizontaly and instead use this availible geo to add some roundness to the forehead. The poly density is way off between these two areas. The one loop around the chin to the forehead could be moved a bit, so that the two rows of polys are more uniform in… -
