Okay that I completely agree with, the entire thing seemed rush and was not at all up to par with the Meet The Spy Vid. But you did get to see one of the engis new weapons, so, worth it :P
todays chick... whenever i render the hair using BPR it goes all strange and green on the ends... i have no idea how this stuff works.... so here's a preview render instead :P
What matcap is that ? A lot of them are not going too look good once all that info is static. Check to see if subdivision smoothing is off for the mesh and uvs. Also try a best render instead of bpr
The normal map material tristamus is talking about is here under the effects tab, 3rd row - http://pixologic.com/zbrush/downloadcenter/library/ Did you also turn on shadows when doing a BPR?
I've had a lot of memory problems with R4 that seemed to show up after the latest patch, mostly with the available mem always being low and bpr renders on high(50mil+) poly sculpts crashing.
The steps are correct. Although it looks like you are using a bad texture format. It is best to bake to a 16 bits-per-channel format. Then convert it down to 8 bpc when you're done processing it.
