If you think 90k is a dream salary, you should see what most senior, lead, and management level positions make. $130-$180k a year is quite common. -

Re: Why there are so many lines on the nurbs ball?
1,2 and 3 control the smoothness display for nurbs. (subdiv stuff is for polymeshes) When you create the sphere, there are options for the resolution. Using the shelf icon uses default values.
