Do you have any screenshots of the 2nd approach? Sounds like it would be really ugly, unless I'm missing something. What kind of UV do you use for that? -

Yeah, if you use vertex blending (or a mask on a 2nd uv channel) for wear and variation, you should be able to get a lot of use out of relatively simply tiling textures. -

I find it kind of weird that lives automatically reset to 60K after 2nd and 3rd Level. The game also feels like the fly should move just a bit faster. -

Made this shield today as my 2nd item for the project :) going out over the next couple of days to get a backplate. Also just an update to the sword with some actual textures. -

just don`t use the multiply, plug the 2nd lerp into the 1st lerp. also your going to want to use a heightmap or some map to mask the transition between textures.
