im trying to figure this out as well. but from what i can tell it usually keeps the original ids and only adds ontop meaning if the original faces were polyMesh.f[0:6], the new face will polyMesh.f[7]. You can use polyEvaluate to test. Also might have to look into using scriptJob to catch the newly created faces. I might… -

About the 4k texture, I meant something like this image On the right corner you can see how different textures have been put together so, with just one file (3 including normal and specular) you can create a vast range of different models. Wouldn't this texture files work better than 6 or 7 different tiled textures? -

Oh damn. When im almost asleep, I sometimes catch myself "violently" inhaling air like i haven't breathed for minutes, scares the shit out of me. But it only happens sometimes. And I'm also very tired, even though I sleep 7-8 hours a night. I might let myself get checked, if it starts happening more often. -

This seems as good a place as any to ask my question. I'm running CS6 on Windows 7 64bit. Every time I launch the suite it asks me to install 1.8. I do and things seem to run (just doing tests for now). But once I close and try to relaunch, it asks me to update again. Am I missing something or any solutions? -

Yeah gotta agree. All this complaining and hating in here just gives me a headache. Modern Warfare is fun, I spent a lot of time with 2 and there's very little I'd change about it other than simply wanting more. Pior, I wouldn't get Black Ops, it's ok, but only a 7/10 compared to MW2. At least don't pay 30 or something for… -

Quixel tool is really great; When I did the BatPod with 8k texture, my computer became really slow after I added 7-8 smart materials, I need to start a new project with rest unfinished part, can we add a function that like ZIP the finished layer to reduce the file size? Interesting. I had a classmate when I was about 16-18 that just couldn't draw and didn't make any noticeable progress despite drawing 24/7, but when I found him om facebook 10 years later he was incredible. He apparently didn't give up. On a sidenote: Hardesty didn't change his beard, haircut or glasses for nine years? -

Yeah, I think most people with projects up there are still waiting to see what happens, I know we are. not sure what the percentage means, the highest iv seen, on Routine, was 7% with 9,000 favourites, im not sure what kind of numbers each project will need, and I don't think Valve quite knows yet either. Polyhertz, not at my computer at the moment but I think that's correct, a 950 bloomfield. My benchmark might go higher after I flash the SSD with new firmware to support the trim command on win 7.
