[ QUOTE ] seems to me that those who complain so much about zbrush's interface didn't try hard enough. a dig through some of those tuts in the partical guide should have get you started. it may be weird at first but it's nothing that you can't learn to work with in a few hours. heck, far less weird than lightwave GUI, imo…
I just looked for some similar tools to what I want to do in the internet. And some are indeed interesting like how they structured the interface, added additional functionality and how streamlined the workflow is (often not that good imo.). anyway the ones I found: seamless texture generator Price: EUR 34.95…
I fucking hate the way ATI cards work in Maya, which is one of the reasons why I'm switching to learning Max. Every graphical problem I had with Maya seemed to have something to do with the variety of drivers I've tried (Radeon 4870 here). For games it's great. [ QUOTE ] I hope I'm not off topic, but I just noticed that the link to the normal & displacement mapping tool ORB doesn't work anymore (http://www.soclab.bth.se/practices/orb.html). Does anyone know if there is an alternate download link for it? (I searched the net, but I couldn't find one). [/ QUOTE ] It's now available…
Thanks Wilex for your comment. I know symmetry is a problem. I've added a few accessories here and there in the design in hopes of making it a bit more interesting. Just wanted to post my WIP. Here is the base mesh I've created thus far (one mesh smooth iteration). If anyone sees any issues please let me know, since I'll…
