Not when it has gradients rather than flat values it isn't (for an id map) those make it pretty useless as a selection/mask. And mip-maps would only come into account if the colour id is being used in-engine as a mask. Here's another small update. I am done with the mask and shirt. The mask was fun to make, used panel loops for the seams around the eyes.
