If you're shooting for realistic proportions, yeah, they are. He could scratch his ankles without bending over. But I don't think you're shooting for realism, right? :)
Awesome! seems to be really coming along, and the lighting is sure to be a lot more realistic than the actual Goldshire Inn lol. Everything looks pretty solid to me.
It depends on lighting which is crucial in such objects and textures. Also, sometimes it's better to make high poly model and then bake it to low poly to achieve much realistic result.
How are the shaders set up? Depending on how complex and realistic the shader is (i.e. spec? roughness? gloss? fresnel?) you'll get pretty different results for the textures.
I would model that leather grip personally. You could sculpt it but having actual straps would look better in the bake. It will have a more realistic AO.
Chronicle, Gazu, I definitely can see that. Tonight I'll be working on getting a more realistic diffuse/normal map for the wood and post another update. Thanks!!
Definitely not enough details. You could make shapes more rounded and realistic. Add some dirt and specular variations in textures. Place some additional pro
Wow, this looks awesome. The body looks very realistic. I do agree with jackalope though, the thong on the outside is a tad odd and sticks out quite a bit.
