This looks incredible. Your lighting is really great. The only thing that i noticed most was the destroyed edges on the concrete wall seem very polygonal.

It's not free but Vitaliy Bulgarov's character DVD includes some good info about polygonal modeling in XSI. EDIT: woot post #486 :P

Like Bonebrew said. Proper edgeflow allows the polygons to bend in ways that effectively mimic how real-world objects tend to fold and bend.

Mario Kart DS required such a low amount of polygons, kudos to the texture department. The Nintendo Wii U really increased those poly counts.

On the model the legs start from too near the sides, move them in a bit. I'd also look into getting more even polygon distribution.

Try using relax on it. It's in the edit geometry rollout of edit polygon. <- this is in 3dstudio max. I don't know if you can relax faces in maya.
